Our own Ms Dina Machuve of Nelson Mandela African Institute of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) held a public lecture at the College of Information and Communication Technology, Botswana International University of Science and Technology (BIUST) in Palapye Botswana on her emerging expertise in e-Readers. According to BIUST Ms "Dina Machube, the project coordinator and a PhD candidate in the School of Computational and Communications Science and Engineering at the Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science & Technology (NM-AIST), Arusha, Tanzania, delivered the lecture. The scholar, who is also a member of the Arusha Eco-Lab, an NM-AIST outreach initiative, said The E-Readers Project in Tanzania was established in May 2013 by the NM-AIST to address shortage of books in schools and to create an enabling environment to support ICT in education, especially in rural areas".
